About the Role
Driver Hire Stevenage are looking for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Class 2 ADR Night Drivers to join their customers growing operations team. You will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of ADR-classified goods during night-shift operations. This role involves up to 3 deliveries to partner depots.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ADR driver looking for consistent night work, or a newly qualified ADR driver seeking to build experience with a supportive team.
If you don't have an ADR certificate training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Transport ADR-classified goods safely and in full compliance with ADR regulations
Carry out night delivery routes as scheduled
Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting before and after each shift
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records
Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or issues
Ensure health & safety and Company standards are followed at all times
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
ADR certificate (Class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9)
Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Good knowledge of UK road networks
Ability to work nights and commit to a consistent shift pattern
No more than [6] penalty points; no DD/DR/IN convictions
