Business Development Manager

We have an exciting new role for a  Business Development Manager working nationally with the primary aim of winning and developing revenue streams from large major customers in the Clean Energy Sector. 

You will proactively manage and grow revenue within our Clean Energy rental division and support our 10-year sustainability strategy - ‘Towards a low carbon and sustainable future’.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Articulate and present Sunbelt Rentals clean energy products and service to TV & Film clients and prospects.
  • Grow TV & Film sector revenue and profit streams by creating and closing new sales opportunities and maximising on product cross-sell and ‘pull through’ in all Sunbelts sustainable product categories.
  • Develop and drive clean energy sector awareness across the network, upskilling colleagues and stimulating customer demand accordingly by utilising an extensive network of industry contacts (old and new).
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the TV & Film landscape, market trends, technological advancements, etc.
  • Offer specialist clean energy technical support and site survey advice.
  • Work closely with the appropriate business areas to ensure clear communication of customer requirements, including the correct specification for the TV and Film sector.
  • Establish and maintain existing and new relationships at senior levels
  • Prepare presentations and quotations.
  • Project manage complex technical hires.
  • Embrace social media fully and utilise effectively to grow personal profile, customer network and Sunbelt
  • Role is based in the South East
