We are recruiting on behalf of a major UK company who operate airport car parking at Leeds Bradford. They are looking for part time, flexible bus drivers to help out during the very busy summer holiday period.
Shifts will vary according to demand, their own resources and can often be requested at the last minute due to the fast paced environment they operate in. They are looking for competent, safety focussed drivers who are happy to work day or night shifts and who have a great attitude towards customer service even under demanding circumstances. This work is more varied than traditional bus driving jobs and is therefore more rewarding too.
The Benefits: Basic Pay £15.24 per hour up to 8 hours - £19.72 (overtime after 8 hours) - Midweek shifts, based on PAYE Advanced (Holiday pay included)
Basic Pay £18.27 per hour up to 8 hours - £24.54 (overtime after 8 hours) - Weekend shifts, based on PAYE Advanced (Holiday Pay Included)
The Job:
- Transporting customers to/from the airport safely in busses or minibus
- Moving cars around the airpark site
- Answering Calls and helping customers in Reception.
- Completing walk around checks on the vehicle and ensuring and faults are reported in the correct way.
- Working as part of the team to ensure that a high standard of customer service is delivered to clients using the car park.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- PCV licence with CPC and digi tacho.
- Flexibility - Shifts could be midweek/weekend or day/night and will vary throughout the summer.
- Stamina - A typical shift could be up to 12 hours, either 6am to 6pm or from 6pm to 6am although this can vary.
- A passion for great customer service and enjoying being part of a team.
