Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are delighted to be recruiting 3x 7.5t (Cat C1) Multi Drop drivers for their client based in Cramlington.
The positions available are all temp to perms, so the successful candidates have the opportunity to secure permanent employment on completion of the temporary period.
Delivering fresh produce to the catering industry, candidates can expect the role to be physical and can expect to lift products weighing up to 20kg. The role is suited to someone who is happy with a lot of manual handling.
It's highly recommended that the successful candidates have their own transport for the commute to work as no public transport will be available. Due to the nature of the role, shifts start at 4am and can be expected to finish at around 12pm each day. Alternatively, applicants in Cramlington, Blyth, Ashington & surrounding area's, with easier commutes, are encouraged to apply.
There's also an expectation to work Saturdays on occasions. Shift patterns can alternate between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday and will be on a rota bases. Deliveries can be as far north as Glasgow, as far south as Northallerton and as far west as the northern Lake District.
As a result, the successful candidates can expect a competitive salary once going permanent of £29,600 per annum.

- Category C1 (7.5 tonne) entitlement on the licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph
- Multi drop experience
