Driver Hire Leeds West are currently working, looking to recruit a number of 7.5t Drivers to join our customer based in Leeds LS12 on a temp to perm role with the opportunity of a full-time permanent role for the right candidate.
Our customer is a leading pet food company who are dedicated to improving pet wellbeing across the UK, and looking to expand their team.
The Role
- Monday to Friday shifts, starting between 04:00 - 07:00.
- Deliver frozen, ambient, and freeze-dried pet food to customers across the region.
- Operate company vehicles (up to 7.5T GVW) safely and professionally.
- Manual handling is involved, plus use of delivery scanners and route schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service while working accurately in a busy environment.
Requirements
- C1 Driving Licence (up to 7.5T) with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with knowledge of tachograph rules.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
