Driver Hire Leeds West are currently working alongside a well-known customer to recruit a 3.5t Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join their team in Leeds on an on-going temporary to permanent basis.
Our customer has been established for nearly a century, growing from a humble bookstore to become a global distributor of everything from office supplies and IT equipment to PPE and hygiene productions. As a core member of their team, you will provide a reliable, professional and efficient delivery service to their customers, providing excellent customer service along the way. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team and is ideally suited to somebody wishing to advance their career in a thriving and supporting workplace.
We are looking for somebody who is;
- Organised in their approach to work and is able to schedule work and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to fit in well with a well-established team.
- Experienced in multi-drop delivery of between 40 and 50 drops per day.
- Have a good working knowledge of geographical areas as required.
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs
- A smart appearance.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, so once you have completed 13 weeks through Driver Hire Leeds West, you will receive the following benefits.
- An hourly rate of £11.50ph or £14.12 including Holiday pay
- Overtime rate of £13.80ph or £15.47 including holiday pay
- Annual Salary of £28,082 per annum once you have completed the temp to perm period and become a full-time member of the team. This based on a 45hr week.
- 31 days holiday, including Bank Holidays
- Pension and life insurance and private medical insurance (after 1 year of service)
