Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for a
Driver with experience in driving a 3.5Tonne Van to work with a charitable organization to collect donated furniture and ensure timely delivery to various locations. This role is an on-going opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration: Partner with a driver or a driver's mate to manage routes and handle goods safely.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with donors and recipients in a professional and friendly manner, representing the charity with pride and respect.
- Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Major Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving License: Applicants must hold a full, valid UK driving license and to have no more then 6 points
- Must live within 10 miles of Crawley for a smooth commute.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential to maintain our high standards of service.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items as needed during collections and deliveries.
- Communication Skills: Clear and courteous communication with team members and the public.
